Bloody irony

April 8, 2010

Halden over at Inhabitatio Dei brilliantly notices the apparently unconscious use of passover language by the crowd “His blood be upon us and our children” (Matt 27:35) and the ongoing theme of the surpluses of grace in the promise to the baptised  ‘and their children’ (Acts 2:39). It’s brief and well worth a read.
